Job Summary:
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our team and play a pivotal role in guaranteeing the excellence of our innovative AI-based predictive software solutions. As an Automation QA Engineer at our organization, you will be at the forefront of testing, ensuring that our recently developed products meet and exceed industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing Transmetrics’ products, new and already existing features;
- Detecting, reporting, and tracking issues using defect-tracking tools;
- Creating and maintaining test cases based on product requirements and specifications;
- Contributing to product design and requirements reviews to ensure testability;
- Collaborating with engineering and product teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality;
- Identifying areas for process improvement and suggesting solutions.
Required Skills:
- Automation Testing: Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and executing automated tests for software applications, with a strong emphasis on Integration testing, System testing, and Acceptance testing;
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python is preferred, but experience with other programming languages commonly used in test automation is also acceptable;
- Test Data Management: Proficiency in creating and managing test data, including data setup and teardown processes for test scenarios;
- Defect Tracking: Ability to use defect tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla to report, track, and manage defects throughout the testing process;
- Others: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail; Strong aptitude for both independent work and collaborative teamwork; Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-have skills:
- Database Experience: Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, as knowledge of database management and querying can be advantageous for certain testing scenarios;
- Test Frameworks: Familiarity with one or more automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Behave, etc.
- Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git for maintaining and tracking changes to test scripts and test data;
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI to automate testing processes;
- Agile/Scrum Methodology: Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and the ability to work within an agile development environment;
- Others: Experience in the logistics-related field is considered a strong advantage.
