Is Transmetrics a TMS?

Transmetrics is not a TMS. However, our platform can be integrated with any TMS, ERP or Asset Management system that your company uses. The platform automatically extracts data on a daily basis to provide you with the most accurate predictive analytics of your business and empower your planners to make the most optimal decisions.

What is your commercial model?

Transmetrics is a Software-as-a-Service. That means that it does not require upfront investments from your side to start the implementation and the monthly subscription fee ensures that you receive constant support and future software updates which can generate even more significant benefits for your operations. Our monthly pricing is unique for every project and is based, for example, on the scope, the number of your logistics assets, and the size of your network.

Is Transmetrics an off-the-shelf solution or is it custom made for each client?

The Transmetrics platform is a ready-to-use solution. However, during the implementation process, we can customize and combine different modules of the platform, guaranteeing that you use and pay only for the functionality which speaks to your business.

How do you deal with demand fluctuations and ensure high forecasting accuracy? How does your technology cope with unforeseen events - such as Covid?
It is impossible to predict such events as COVID pandemic and how it can affect the world around us before it happens. In order to cope with such unforeseen events or high demand fluctuations, Transmetrics utilizes high-sensitivity machine learning algorithms that learn from the new incoming data and adjust the forecasting base over a period of time. With every new batch of data the algorithms get closer and closer to the real values and this way, we can ensure high forecasting accuracy.
How do you ensure good results if you have to work with bad data quality?

With 8 years of experience in dealing with logistics data, we have developed strong and reliable data cleansing and enrichment algorithms that ensure your data is transformed to the highest possible quality. Then, we use this data to power our forecasting algorithms: the better the quality of the data – the more accurate is the forecast.

How are we going to access your solution?
Transmetrics solution is a cloud-based platform which does not require any installation from your side. We simply create as many accounts as you need for your team and they can access the solution and all its features instantly through any web-browser.
How will you connect to our existing systems? How do you ensure the security of our data?
Transmetrics connects with your TMS, ERP or asset management system through state of the art VPN connection and extracts only relevant data from your system(s), which guarantees the high level of your data security and encryption. We never share your data with the 3rd parties.
What kind of transport data will you need from us? How much historical data do your algorithms need?
We need at least 6 months of historical data including shipment measurements, tracking information, vehicle movements, asset positioning, and etc.
Where is your solution implemented?
Our solution is already implemented and used on an everyday basis by such companies as Kuehne + Nagel, Gebruder Weiss, DPD, Milaha, and Transmar just to name a few.
What kind of external data sources are you using?
We only use the relevant external data sources that correspond to the business specifics of your operations. It can be a combination of many factors from Forex, commodities & futures prices to Port Data, and from Weather to Public Holidays and events.
